IED Blast Injures CoBRA Jawan in Saranda Forest; Airlifted to Ranchi

An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) injured a CoBRA 205 battalion jawan during an anti-Maoist operation in the Saranda Forest on Monday. Official sources stated that the incident occurred while security forces conducted a search operation near Chaibasa. The jawan triggered a pressure-activated IED that Maoist insurgents had planted, which set off a powerful explosion.
