Jamshedpur, April 6: The pre-primary section of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES), Jamshedpur, celebrated Hand Wash Day on 6th April 2026 with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to create awareness among young learners about the importance of hand hygiene and healthy habits from an early age.
The programme began with an interactive session on the importance of washing hands with soap and water. Children were taught how germs spread through daily activities and how regular handwashing keeps them healthy.
The celebration came alive with a video presentation on proper handwashing steps, a poem recitation, and a creative dance performance by the UKG students, who beautifully spread the message of hygiene through rhyme, rhythm, and expressive movements. Adding more charm, the LKG toddlers stole the show with a colourful ramp walk, winning hearts with their innocence and confidence.
The event concluded with a joyful pledge by the children to keep their hands clean and wash them regularly. The programme ended with the cheerful slogan, “Clean Hands, Happy Life!”, leaving the little ones with a valuable lesson on cleanliness, health, and self-care.
