XITE College Gamharia conducts cleanliness drive

Jamshedpur: Under the Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, the National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of XITE College, Gamharia, organized a cleanliness drive in Pindra Bera Panchayat. The NSS volunteers also conducted a comprehensive survey of the village as part of the initiative.
During the survey,  Sukhmati Mardi, the Mukhiya of Pindra Bera Panchayat, shared valuable insights. She informed that the panchayat houses:   primary school,  middle school, two Anganwadi centers, and  health center.
The survey was conducted by 15 NSS volunteers under the guidance of NSS Officer Naval Narayan Choudhary and in collaboration with Ward Member Gorkha Hembram. The event saw active participation from community members, including social worker Uday Mardi.
The program lasted for two hours, during which volunteers carried out cleanliness activities at the Anganwadi Center of the village under the Bal Vikas Pariyojana (Child Development Project).
This initiative aimed to promote hygiene awareness and encourage active community participation in maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
