Jamshedpur: The Office of the District Magistrate and Deputy Commissioner, East Singhbhum, has issued an important notice regarding the recruitment of 306 Chowkidar posts under Advertisement No. 01/2024. The written examination conducted on 1st December 2024 has been cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. A new date for the examination has been set for Sunday, 22nd December 2024.
The written examination will consist of 50 multiple-choice questions:
General Knowledge:45 questions focusing on district-related topics. Local Language: 5 questions based on the language specified by the candidate in their application.
Duration and Reporting Time: The exam will last for 1 hour and 30 minutes, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM. Candidates must report to the exam center by 10:00 AM. Successful candidates will be shortlisted for a physical examination in a 1:3 ratio based on their written exam scores.
Admit Card: No new admit cards will be issued. Candidates must bring the
previously issued admit cards to the exam center.
Exam Center:The exam will be held at the originally assigned exam center as per the admit card.
Materials and Prohibited Items:
– Use only a black ballpoint pen to fill the OMR sheet.
Books, notes, electronic devices, and other unauthorized materials are strictly prohibited. Candidates found engaging in unfair practices will face strict penalties, including the cancellation of their candidature.
All other conditions mentioned in Advertisement No. 01/2024 remain unchanged.
Candidates are advised to adhere to the instructions strictly to ensure a smooth and fair examination process.
