Indigo Fighters Register Opening Win
Jamshedpur, June 11: Tata Motors Sports launched its 2026-27 sports season with the inauguration of the Inter Division and Inter School Football Tournament on Thursday.
The tournament was inaugurated by Tata Motors Finance Head Satish Kadam and Employee Relations Head Soumik Roy, who attended the event as chief guests and formally kicked off the competition.
On the opening day, Indigo Fighters made a strong start by defeating Trans Axle 2-0 in the first match of the tournament. In the second match, Safari Royal and Tata Cummins shared points after playing out an exciting 1-1 draw.
Addressing the participants during the inaugural ceremony, Satish Kadam and Soumik Roy extended their best wishes to all the players and encouraged them to display sportsmanship, teamwork, and competitive spirit throughout the tournament.
The event marks the beginning of Tata Motors Sports’ activities for the new season and is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from teams representing different divisions and schools.
