Jamshedpur, June 14: A potentially disastrous situation was narrowly avoided when a double transformer in Azadnagar fell during repair work being carried out by a JCB near Hussaini Masjid. The incident caused a significant disturbance in the entire area. Fortunately, no one was present in the vicinity when the transformer fell; otherwise, a major accident could have occurred.
The aftermath of the transformer’s fall resulted in a power outage in the area, leaving residents concerned and frustrated. Power cuts have become an ongoing issue, causing inconvenience for the local population. The repair work at the house, undertaken by Babu Khan, was the trigger for the incident. Khan revealed that the transformers toppled due to the impact caused by the JCB. The electricity department has been duly notified of the incident. Efforts are underway to rectify the situation and restore power supply to the affected area as swiftly as possible. The authorities are investigating the incident to determine the exact cause and ensure that necessary precautions are taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
