Jamshedpur, June 14: Prateek Sangharsh Foundation (PSF), a prominent social organization in the city, successfully organized a two-hour blood donation camp, resulting in the collection of 37 units of blood and two Single Donor Platelets (SDPs). The camp aimed to raise awareness about the importance of blood donation and contribute to the ongoing efforts of meeting the blood supply requirements in the region.
During the event, the Kolkata Sreeleathers family made a significant contribution by dedicating four state-of-the-art laptops, four printers, and two dongles to the Jamshedpur Blood Bank. This noble gesture was made in honor of the Kiranmayi Jayanti festival and in memory of the late Jyoti Prakash Mitra, a respected figure from the Voluntary Blood Donors Association. The initiative was celebrated in the presence of esteemed guests, including Dhalbhum Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Piyush Sinha, who graced the occasion as the chief guest. The dedication of the laptops and other equipment to the Jamshedpur Blood Bank symbolized the collective commitment towards advancing healthcare services and enhancing the efficiency of blood donation processes.
