Teen singer Kartavya Pandey releases new devotional song

Jamshedpur, Sept 11: Thirteen-year-old Bhojpuri singer Kartavya Pandey has released his latest devotional track, “Nimiya Par Jhuluya,” marking his eighth song in the industry. The song and its poster were officially launched on Thursday by senior JDU leader and Swarnarekha Area Development Trust trustee, Ashutosh Rai.

Kartavya, son of Vivek Pandey, public facilities representative of Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy, has been steadily making a name for himself in Bhojpuri folk and devotional music. Despite limited resources, he has already earned praise from well-known artists.

Speaking at the launch, Ashutosh Rai said, “Kartavya has achieved remarkable success at such a young age. His talent and dedication will take him to great heights in the future. Bhojpuri power star Pawan Singh’s blessings are also with him.”

Along with singing, Kartavya has stepped into acting. He will be seen in the upcoming film “Rudra Shivaay” portraying the childhood role of the main character. A student of class seven, Kartavya practices singing for about two hours daily, with strong support from his family.

Two years ago, Kartavya released his music video “Hey Chhathi Maiya” on the occasion of Chhath Puja.

The launch event was attended by several dignitaries, including Santosh Bhagat, Sunil Singh, Raghavendra Singh, Pappu Singh Suryavanshi, Vivek Pandey, Hareram Singh, Subodh Srivastava, Amrita Mishra, Mukul Mishra, Tarak Mukherjee, Aditya Mukherjee, Ricky Keshari, and Arun Puranik.
