Jamshedpur, Feb 11: The team of LBSM College, Karandih, won the 50th Football Mahakumbh tournament organized on the occasion of birth anniversary of Baba Tilka Majhi. The event was held at Narwa Pahar under the aegis of Baba Tilka Majhi Memorial Society, Narwa Pahar. Team LBSM pipped Bardu Brothers, the team from Hartopa, with 2-1.
The chief guest of the inaugural session was Malti Hansda, Mukhiya of Hartopa panchayat. She said Baba Tilka Memorial Society organizes the football tournament every year with the view to promote sports.
Other dignitaries present during the tournament included Hari Pado Murmu, Lakhan Murmu, Gajia Hansda, Durga Mardi, Dashmath Murmu and Piru Kisku.
