Tributes paid to Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb 11: Rich tributes were paid to Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya by members of Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP on the occasion of his death anniversary on Friday.

The day was observed as ‘Samarpan Diwas’. A large number of party members were present during the programme.

Jamshedpur Mahanagar BJP president Gunjan Yadav led party workers during the event. He paid floral tributes to Pundit Upadhyaya and chanted ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ and other patriotic slogans.

Yadav said Pundit Upadhyaya was the proponent of ‘Ekatm Manavvad’ and Antyodaya doctrine. He said the legendary leader also advocated for the uplift of the downtrodden masses. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led Union government is running numerous welfare schemes for the marginalized sections of society. We all need to follow in the footsteps of the great patriot to ensure betterment of our succeeding generations, he said.

Pundit Deen Dayal remembered

Rich tributes were paid to Pundit Deen Dayal Upadhyaya by members of BJP’s Parsudih unit on the occasion of his death anniversary on Friday. A programme was organized at Haludbani main road near Chhota Hanuman temple. It was chaired by the outfit president Tridib Chattaraj. The day was observed as ‘Samarpan Diwas’. A large number of party members were present during the programme.

Others present on the occasion included Rajkumar Singh, Pankaj Sinha, Meghlal Tudu, Sujit Ambast, Devendra Singh, Manoj Vishwakarma, Sujit Singh, Shanti Devi, Rakesh Singh, Akhilesh Srivastava, Seema Munda, Dheeraaj Sinha, Mangal Karmakarr, Rajesh Agrawal, Kiran Rao, Santosh Srivastava, Babita Singh and Ashok Singh.

Pundit Deendayal Upadhyay remembered

Chaibasa, Feb 11: Samarpan Diwas was observed on the occasion of death anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay in Pandarasali Chowk, Khuntpani block by BJP under the leadership of party’s block president Sudama Haiburu.

Party workers offered floral tributes to the portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

Block in-charge Hemant Kumar Keshari shedlight on the life of Pandit Upadhyay and urged them to follow his footsteps.

Former candidate cum ex-MLA Jawaharlal Banra shed light on the life of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and made the workers aware of his goals. Mangta Gope, Sano Gope, Kokil Kesari, Narayan Banra, Rakesh Bansing, Shambhu Gope, Songa Jarika, Yadav Chandra Gop, Veersing Banra, Durga Gop, Sidiv Banra, Paulush Hayburu, Brave Leech were present.

BJP observes Samarpan Diwas in Chaibasa

Chaibasa, Feb 11: Samarpan Diwas was celebrated at BJP district office on the occasion of death anniversary of founder of Jan Sangh Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. Floral tributes were paid to the portrait of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.

Deendayal Upadhyaya is widely considered as one of India’s most influential political figures. Upadhyaya was an idealist affiliated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and the then-President of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh (BJS), the forerunner of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Politics wasn’t just about gaining power for Upadhyaya. He always advocated a politics founded on values and principles. His policies were centred on national interests

Former district President Sanjay Panday said, his philosophies of ‘Integral Humanism’ and ‘Antyodaya’ have inspired many to serve the nation and the downtrodden and will continue to remain a guiding force for all.

Seraikela Kharsawan district organization in-charge JB Tubid also addressed the gatehring. Also present were Sadar unit President Jai Kishan Biruli, Lebeya Devgam, General Secretary of Sadar Mandal.

Former district president Dinesh Chandra Nandi, District Vice President Rakesh Bablu Sharma, District General Secretary Pratap Katiyar, District Office Incharge Anant Saynam, OBC Morcha District President Pankaj Khirwal, Chandramohan Tiu, Pintu Prasad, Dilip Saw, Vikas Banra, Subhash Johnko, Harsh Rawani, Kameshwar Vishwakarma, Gulshan Sundi, Sumit Prajapati and others were present.
