Jamshedpur, Aug 29: A man, identified as Pritpal Singh, 42, son of Satnam Singh, committed suicide by hanging self to death in Jawaharnagar, New Purulia Road, under Azadnagar PS area in Jamshedpur on Thursday, police said.
Sources said Satnam Singh had gone for breakfast in his neighbourhood around 8 am today when the incident took place. Around 9.15 am, Satnam Singh returned home and found Pritpal hanging from the ceiling of his room with the help of a towel. He shouted for help. Local residents rushed to the scene and brought his son�s body down.
Members of Sikh community reached the house and condoled Pritpal�s demise.
