Ranchi, Dec 3: Ranchi is soon to benefit from a new flyover, set to ease traffic congestion in the capital. Chief Minister Hemant Soren conducted an inspection of the ongoing flyover construction from Sirmatoli to Mecon Chowk. Accompanied by his wife, Kalpana Soren, who is the MLA of Gandey, and senior state government officials, CM Soren reviewed the progress of the project. During the inspection, he emphasized the importance of maintaining high-quality construction standards and adhering to the scheduled timeline for the project’s completion.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the flyover would be ready for use sooner than expected, echoing the successful completion of the earlier flyover project from Kantatoli to Sirmatoli Chowk, which was delivered ahead of its deadline. CM Soren commended the dedicated work of state officials, engineers, and construction workers, who have been putting in considerable effort to ensure the timely completion of the new flyover, which stretches from Mecon Chowk (near Van Bhawan) to Sirmatoli Chowk.

Addressing concerns regarding the flyover’s design, CM Soren highlighted that it would be a unique structure, one that would stand out not just in Ranchi but across the country. He assured that the flyover, which passes over a railway crossing, would be constructed with careful consideration of train movement and safety protocols. This new flyover is expected to alleviate traffic problems, providing much-needed relief to commuters in the city.
