Jharkhand State Yogasana Championship to Feature ‘Star’ and ‘Moms’ Categories in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: The upcoming 3rd Jharkhand State Yogasana Sports Championship will showcase a special ‘Star Category’ for differently-abled children and a dedicated ‘Moms Category’ this year.

The World Fitness Federation of Yogasana Sports (WFFYS) Jharkhand Chapter and the Sarkar Yoga Academy are jointly organizing the championship on May 24, 2026, at the Andhra Association School auditorium near the Kadma Ganesh Puja Ground.

Broad Age Spectrum Draws Statewide Interest

The championship will feature competitors ranging from five-year-olds to seniors over 60, drawing large participation from across the state. Interested participants must submit their applications by May 22.

Anshu Sarkar—President of the WFFYS Jharkhand Chapter, founder of the Sarkar Yoga Academy, informed, “Top performers at this state-level championship will secure their spots to represent Jharkhand at the National Yogasana Sports Championship, which will take place in Haridwar from June 26 to June 28, 2026.”
