Ranchi, Dec 6:: In the check bounce case involving film actress Ameesha Patel, a hearing took place in the Ranchi Civil Court on Wednesday. Ameesha Patel’s advocate, on her behalf, submitted the fine imposed by the court during the previous hearing. The complainant’s witness, Ajay Kumar, was subsequently cross-examined. The next hearing for this case is scheduled for December 11 in the court of JMFC (Judicial Magistrate First Class) Digvijay Nath Shukla.

This case dates back to 2017, with allegations that, in the guise of producing the film “Desi Magic,” Ajay Singh transferred Rs 2.5 crore to Ameesha Patel’s account. Ajay Kumar Singh, the complainant and proprietor of Lovely World Entertainment, filed a fraud case against Ameesha Patel when the film wasn’t produced, and the money was not refunded. Ameesha Patel surrendered in Ranchi Civil Court on June 17 in connection with this case.
