Premier Division: Vishal Mukhi hat-trick guides Sporting Club to victory

Jamshedpur, June 19: Vishal Mukhi scored a superb hat-trick to help Sporting Club Jamshedpur register a convincing 3-1 victory over Jharkhand Sporting Club in a Premier Division match of the JSA Football League at JRD Tata Sports Complex on Friday.

Mukhi opened the scoring in the 20th minute and doubled Sporting Club’s lead eight minutes later. He completed his hat-trick in the 43rd minute, giving his team a commanding 3-0 advantage before half-time.

Jharkhand Sporting Club tried to make a comeback in the second half and reduced the margin through a goal by Rajesh Tudu in the 66th minute. However, Sporting Club Jamshedpur maintained control of the match and successfully defended their lead.

The victory earned Sporting Club Jamshedpur three valuable points in the league, with Mukhi emerging as the star performer of the contest.

Super Division: Late goal seals victory for PRMF

Jamshedpur, June 19: Pandit Raghunath Memorial Foundation (PRMF) defeated Jamshedpur Boys Club 1-0 in a Super Division match of the JSA Football League at Gopal Maidan on Friday.

Pradeep Murmu scored a dramatic injury-time goal to hand PRMF a hard-fought victory.

 

JFC Youth Hold Vision Apex to 1-1 Draw

Jamshedpur, June 19: Jamshedpur FC Youth fought back to earn a 1-1 draw against Vision Apex Football Club in an A Division Group A match of the JSA Football League at Tinplate Sports Complex on Friday.

Vision Apex made a bright start, taking the lead in the third minute through Bikash Majhi. JFC Youth gradually gained control and continued to press for an equaliser.

Their efforts paid off in the 57th minute when Marshal Hembrom found the net to level the score. Vision Apex suffered a setback in the 68th minute when Biswanath Lohar was sent off after receiving his second yellow card, reducing his team to 10 men. Despite late efforts from both sides, the match ended in a draw.

Aruna Samiti begin campaign with 4-2 win

Jamshedpur, June 19: Aruna Samiti Club started their A Division Group B campaign with an impressive 4-2 victory over Vikas Samiti at Armoury Ground on Friday.

Rounak Mukhi gave Aruna Samiti an early lead in the 10th minute, but Ramswarup Soren equalised for Vikas Samiti seven minutes later. Aruna regained control with goals from Sani Deep Mukhi and Naman Mukhi before Preet Sona added a fourth goal in first-half stoppage time.

Vikas Samiti reduced the margin in the 69th minute through Sahil Tudu, but Aruna Samiti maintained their advantage until the final whistle. The winners also played a portion of the match with 10 men after Ronit Karua was sent off late in the first half.
