Jamshedpur, Sep 16: A meeting of Azadnagar police station peace committee was held at Mahal Inn auditorium on Friday. It was presided over by DSP Patamada Sumit Kumar.
Addressing the participants, he said the peace committee members should cooperate with the district administration in keeping peace during the festival. He stressed on coordination and compliance with the norms laid down by the district administration for peaceful conduct of puja.
The participants demanded special cleaning around puja pandals, sprinkling of bleaching powder, repair of defunct streetlights and deployment of security personnel for crowd and traffic control.
