Rainfall Cools Jamshedpur After Scorching 37.6°C Day

Dark monsoon clouds rolled across the skyline as Jamshedpur witnessed a dramatic spell of thunderstorm and rain for the second consecutive day on Wednesday. Accompanied by intense lightning flashes and rolling thunder, the showers brought a welcome respite from the oppressive humidity that had gripped the city in recent days.
The local meteorological office recorded 5.6 mm of rainfall, enough to cool the atmosphere and provide much-needed relief to residents despite the Steel City registering a maximum temperature of 37.6°C. The striking contrast between the sweltering daytime heat and the evening downpour transformed the city’s mood, with rain-soaked streets, rumbling skies, and gusty winds creating a spectacular monsoon spectacle across Jamshedpur.
