Jamshedpur, July 26: A team of Excise department officials here on Tuesday raided several villages in Indurmati, Kudlung, Kalajhor and Silpahari villages of MGM police station area and destroyed five illegal distilleries. The officials also destroyed 8000 kg mahua stored at the distilleries. They confiscated 150 litres of illicit liquor and registered an FIR against those running the distilleries. They said raids were on to nab the accused persons.
