Jamshedpur: Piyush Kumar, a Class X (Commerce) student of DSM School, Jamshedpur, secured the silver medal at the 18th Jharkhand State Sub-Junior Boxing Championship 2026.
Seraikela-Kharsawan hosted the three-day tournament from June 13 to 15, 2026, drawing top young athletes from across the state.

Kumar outmanoeuvred a field of talented contenders through exceptional discipline, perseverance, and tactical skill. His podium finish at the state finals marks a significant milestone for both the young athlete and his institution.
