Jamshedpur, July 26: Members of Bharat Singh Fans Club met the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of East Singhbhum on Tuesday to demand speedy probe in Sujit Gorai murder case of Mango.
Leading the delegation, outfit member Karan Gorai said Sujit Gorai, an 11 year-old boy, was killed on 11th September 2021 at Kumrum Basti Pahar in Mango. Despite passage of over 10 months, police have failed to reach to the killers and solve the murder mystery, said Gorai.
Gorai alleged that Mango police officials asked the family members of the deceased to probe the case themselves in ironic reaction to their plea for speedy probe. He said the police were either under some kind of pressure or were simply disinterested in the case.
