Ranchi: Former chief minister Babulal Marandi has accused two ministers of Jharkhand, Hafizul Hasan and Irfan Ansari, of making misleading comments about Mahakumbh and provoking people.
Babulal Marandi has said that Hafizul Hasan has made statements with wrong facts in the context of the unfortunate incident that took place in Mahakumbh. Along with this, he has tried to provoke people and spread rumors. He has urged UP and Jharkhand Police to take cognizance of the matter and ensure necessary action.
Babulal posted on X and wrote that Mahakumbh festival is a symbol of faith of Sanatan Hindu religion. The whole country wants to make the merits of many births fruitful by bathing in the holy confluence of Prayagraj and taking darshan of the divine atmosphere of Mahakumbh and saints.
“But two ministers of Jharkhand government, Hafizul Hasan and Irfan Ansari, are trying to spoil the atmosphere by making misleading comments about Mahakumbh and insulting crores of people who believe in Sanatan Dharma. Hafizul Hasan has tried to provoke people and spread rumors by making statements with wrong facts in the context of the unfortunate incident that took place in Mahakumbh,” Marandi alleged.
