Seraikela, May 21: A jail court cum legal awareness camp was organized under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority at the local Seraikela Mandal Jail.
A total of four cases were considered in the Jail Adalat in applications filed by several prisoners. In which a case of SDJM Court Chandil was executed in jail court and one accused was acquitted in the case.
In the program, Chief Judicial Magistrate Manju Kumari, Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Kavitanjali Toppo, SDJM Seraikela Sushil Kumar Pingua, SDJM Chandil Court Amit Akash Sinha through video conferencing, Assistant Prosecution Officer Praveen Kumar Singh, local jail personnel, court personnel were present.
The present prisoners were given information about various laws by organizing a legal awareness camp under the aegis of the District Legal Services Authority.
