Jamshedpur, Sep 8: A new jingle was played in the waste collection vehicles of Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) on the occasion of International Day of Clean Air and Blue Skies.
JNAC Special Officer Sanjay Kumar said Jamshedpur, Mango and Jugsalai were selected under National Clean Air Programme. He said several measures are underway to clean the air and spread greater mass awareness on air pollution. He appealed to people to use LPG and abstain from burning waste, especially plastic. He urged people to plant more and more trees to prevent air pollution.
