Gamharia: JMM Saraikela vidhansabha meet cum membership campaign was launched on Sunday at Ganjia Barrage of Gamharia block.
In the program organized under the chairmanship of party district convenor Shubhendu Mahto, chief guest and central spokesperson Supriyo Bhattacharya targeted the former Chief Minister cum local MLA without naming him. He said that the mistake of losing in Saraikela Vidhansabha is right, but betrayal is not right. The party will accept the mistake, but will never accept betrayal from the party. He said that for the first time such a scene was seen, where the party’s program is being held in Saraikela Vidhansabha constituency and not a single hired vehicle or bus is visible, the party got rid of this disease.
Today all the dedicated workers have come to the program. This is the success of the membership campaign.
Bhattacharya said that in 2019 they clean sweeped Kolhan but in 2024 a thorn came.
“We will uproot that thorn too. We are just waiting for the time,” said Bhattacharya.
He said that in 2029, the Hemant government will come again with a two-thirds majority. JMM will win 65 out of 80 seats.
Earlier, the campaign was inaugurated by cabinet minister Deepak Biruwa by giving membership receipts to the workers. He said that workers are a big asset for any organization. The program was also addressed by MLA Dashrath Gagrai, Zilla Parishad President Bari Murmu among others.
During the program, dozens of male and female workers of Congress and BJP joined the party, whom the chief guest welcomed by garlanding and putting a party sash.
