Jamshedpur: Police has arrested Nishu Tiu, an accused in the case of selling a minor girl from Parsudih Loco Colony of Jamshedpur.
According to police sources, during interrogation, the accused admitted that she was involved in the case of selling girls. Her job was to deliver the girl to Anjali Kachhap of Ranchi. In return, she used to get between Rs 10-15,000.
Apart from this, Anjali Kachhap also paid for the fare to and from Ranchi. Earlier, she used to work in Delhi. During this time, she met Anjali Kachhap of Ranchi. Later, she also joined this work. After interrogation at Parsudih police station, police sent Nishu Tiu to judicial custody on Saturday. She is a resident of Dumaria and is married. Now the police has started searching for Anjali Kachhap.
According to the police, Anjali Kachhap was taking a girl child to Delhi by train. But on suspicion, the railway police recovered the girl. While the accused escaped by dodging the police. The recovered girl will be presented in the court on Monday.
