Jharkhand Human Rights Association forms Jamshedpur Committee

Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Human Rights Association (JHRA) announced the formation of its Jamshedpur  Committee during an important meeting held at Dimna. The event, chaired by Central President Dinesh Kumar Kinu, marked the induction of new office-bearers and underlined the association’s mission of safeguarding and promoting human rights in the state.

On this occasion, Manoj Kishore was appointed as the new  President, while Akhilesh Kumar Sinha took charge as Secretary. Awadhesh Giri was named Chief Patron. The newly appointed leaders and members were felicitated with shawls, bouquets, and certificates by the Central President.

The meeting began with the national anthem, followed by the introductory address of Central General Secretary Vikas Srivastava. The stage was conducted by State Office Secretary Sujit Verma, and the vote of thanks was delivered by  Secretary Akhilesh Kumar Sinha.

In his address, President Manoj Kishore highlighted the importance of constitutional provisions related to human rights and pledged to work with full responsibility in protecting and promoting them. “It is very important for every citizen to know their rights and ensure they are not violated. I thank the senior officials for their trust and assure dedicated service,” he said.

Central President Dinesh Kumar Kinu emphasized that JHRA is a non-governmental organization committed to social justice, legal aid, and public awareness. He noted that the association is recognized by the National Human Rights Commission, making it the only such organization in Jharkhand.

Several eminent personalities, including Kolhan patrons Avinash Singh Raja, Hemlal Chaudhary, Sunil Kumar Srivastava, Santosh Kumar Singh, Amit Giri, Vikram Singh, Naveen Srivastava, Anmol Kishore, and Rajkishore Sharma, were present on the occasion.

The newly formed Jamshedpur  Committee includes: Chief Patron: Awadhesh Giri, Patrons: Dr. Banita Sahay, Khemlal Chaudhary, Dr. S. Akhtar, President: Manoj Kishore, Vice Presidents: Amit Giri, Krishna Karmakar, Sunil Kumar Srivastava, Secretary: Akhilesh Kumar Sinha, Joint Secretaries: Naveen Srivastava, Shekhar Sahay, Organisation Secretary: Santosh Kumar Singh, Media Incharge: Piyush Kumar Singh, Co-Incharge: Manmohan, Advisor: Prof. Ram Pravesh Prasad and Legal Advisors: Advocates Rakesh Kumar Sinha and Rajiv Gupta.
