Jamshedpur: The Jharkhand Ball Badminton team left for the 71st Senior National Ball Badminton Championship, scheduled to be held in Dindigul, Tamil Nadu, from September 25 to 28.
The team’s kit sponsor, Majji Ravi Kumar, General Secretary of the Jharkhand State Ball Badminton Association, handed over T-shirts and kit materials to the players before their departure. On behalf of the association and the Ball Badminton fraternity, officials extended their best wishes to the players for a strong performance in the championship.
In the men’s category, Birendra Kumar Mishra has been named captain of the team, while Shakuntala Kumari will lead the women’s squad.
