Jamshedpur Women’s University to publish first merit list, priority to CUET candidates

Jamshedpur, July 27: The admission process for the first semester of graduation in Jamshedpur Women’s University has started. Under this, the first merit list will be published soon.

 According to the information received from the university, this time more applications have come for admission than last year.

This time around 3500 girl students have applied for admission in the first semester of graduation in the university, which is more than last year.

Jamshedpur Women’s University has BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BBA, B.Sc IT and other graduate level vocational courses. There are a total of about three thousand seats in all.

Apart from the intermediate division of the university, girl students of plus two schools and intermediate colleges located in the city and surrounding areas are also included in the applicants.

The first merit list will be issued by the university on the scheduled date. Accordingly, the list will be published by late evening on Thursday. The list will also be issued on the notice board and official website of the university. After the release of the list, the verification of the certificates and enrollment of the selected girl students will be started from the next day.

It has already been clarified by the university that priority will be given in admission to those girl students who have appeared in CUET. In order to prepare the merit list, the merit list has been prepared on the basis of CUET score and intermediate score. After completion of admission of girl students who appeared in CUET, non-CUET girl students will be given a place in the list.
