Jamshedpur: Assam Chief Minister and Jharkhand Co-in-charge of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, received a hearty welcome from Sikh BJP leaders during his visit to Jamshedpur today. The Sikh leaders greeted him with traditional honors, presenting him with a bouquet, angavastra, and shawl as tokens of respect and admiration.
During his visit, Chief Minister Sarma made it a point to engage with Sikh representatives and party workers with warmth and openness. Addressing the gathering with the traditional Sikh greeting “Sat Sri Akal,” Sarma took time out of his busy schedule to interact personally with everyone present. He expressed his gratitude to the Sikh leaders for their heartfelt reception and appreciation.
The Sikh leaders, including BJP Sikh leader Satbir Singh Somu, Minority Front state working committee member Ravinder Singh Rinku, and BJP leader Joginder Singh Jogi, extended an invitation for Sarma to visit Jamshedpur again in the future. In response, Sarma affirmed his pleasure at meetiof camaraderie and mutual respect, reflecting the strong ties between the BJP and the Sikh community in the region.
