Archery, magic show highlight summer camp at Excel India Model School

Jamshedpur, May 9: A one-day summer camp was organised at Excel India Model School in Birsanagar, where students enthusiastically participated in a variety of creative and sports activities.

The programme began with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra followed by a yoga session. Students from different classes took part in activities such as Zumba dance, indoor games and outdoor sports throughout the day.

A special attraction of the camp was the archery training session conducted by a team from the Tata Steel Foundation, including Karan Rana, Samir Lohar, Ramu Liyangi and Deepak Oraon. The students displayed impressive skills in archery, surprising the trainers with their accuracy and enthusiasm.

Another major highlight was a magic show by S. Kumar, a magician known for his national and international performances. His entertaining tricks kept the children engaged and excited.

School Principal Mamta Kumari said the camp was organised to support the overall development of students and encourage their participation in creative activities. Teachers, staff members and students attended the event.
