Jamshedpur, May 9: Chinmaya Vidyalaya defeated Shiksha Niketan by 45 runs in the final of the Jamshedpur T-20 School League held at the historic Keenan Stadium on Friday.
After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Chinmaya Vidyalaya posted a competitive total of 164 for 6 in 20 overs. Vignesh Kumar led the innings with a solid 50 off 39 balls, hitting three boundaries and two sixes, while Divyam contributed an impressive 40 runs off 31 deliveries with seven fours. For Shiksha Niketan, Satyam Kumar Mishra claimed two wickets.

In reply, Shiksha Niketan managed 119 for 9 in 16.2 overs. Pratik Raj Yadav was the top scorer with 31 runs off 24 balls, including six boundaries. Chinmaya Vidyalaya bowlers dominated the innings, with Nithik Bhardwaj taking five wickets for 35 runs and Divyam picking up three wickets for 22 runs.
Divyam was adjudged the Man of the Match for his all-round performance.
The final and prize distribution ceremony of the JSCA School League 2025-26 was attended by Saurabh Tiwary as the chief guest. Former JSCA Secretary Rajesh Verma and former Ranji player Satish Singh were present as distinguished guests, along with school principals and JSCA officials.
