Jamshedpur: RIT police solve 2 cases, 3 nabbed

Seraikela, July 10: .RIT police solve two different cases with arrest of three accused and sent them to judicial custody.

The names of the accused who were caught by the police are Rintu Kumar, Anil Sardar alias Gora Sardar and Bagira Mahto alias Deepu Mahto.

SDPO Harvinder Singh said that on the night of 28-29 June last month, the theft incident took place at JBB Com mobile shop located in Mirudih.

In all 27 new mobiles, five smart watches and a headphone were stolen. A team was formed after registering the case.

The team caught a young man named Rintu Kumar selling 6 mobiles, a headphone and a smart watch from Chawla Mode under Adityapur police station. During interrogation, the young man accepted the theft in JBV com mobile shop. When asked about the remaining mobiles, he told that all the mobiles are kept in his house.

Police recovered the remaining 16 mobiles and two smart watches during the search. Four mobiles are yet to be recovered.

In relation to the second incident, the SDPO told that Chandu Kumar Ram was attacked with a knife near RIT’s Nepali Basti at around 2:30 pm last Sunday.

And the incident of mobile snatching was carried out. After registering a complaint, Anil Sardar alias Gora Sardar and Bagira Mahto alias Deepu Mahto were arrested in the course of investigation. He told that the knife used in the incident and the snatched mobile were also recovered from their possession.

All the accused are being sent to judicial custody after questioning. It was told that Anil Sardar has a criminal history in the past and he has also gone to jail in several cases.
