Jamshedpur Head Post Office Celebrates Yoga Day

Jamshedpur, June 21: Jamshedpur Head Post Office celebrated International Yoga Day by organizing a ‘Yoga Sangam’ programme on its premises. All officers and employees participated enthusiastically in the event, marking 100 percent attendance.

During the group yoga session, participants performed various yoga exercises and took a pledge to make yoga a regular part of their daily lives rather than limiting it to a one-day observance.

Senior Postmaster Vishwajit Roy thanked the employees for their active participation and appreciated their enthusiasm. He said the growing popularity of yoga reflects the visionary efforts to promote India’s ancient tradition worldwide. He added that yoga has emerged as a global movement that contributes to physical fitness, mental well-being, and a healthy lifestyle.
