Jamshedpur, May 26: The special Chaibasa court conducted a hearing on Friday, resulting in the acquittal of former minister and AJSU Party’s Chief General Secretary, Ramchandra Sahis. The case pertained to alleged violations of the code of conduct during the 2019 assembly elections. After careful consideration, the special court for MLAs and MPs deemed the charges baseless, leading to Sahis’s acquittal. Celebrating the verdict, AJSU leaders in West Singhbhum district warmly welcomed the former minister. Expressing his gratitude, Sahis emphasized the importance of respecting the court’s decision, as he himself does. He acknowledged that the judicial process in the country is the highest in the world, even though it may sometimes face delays. However, he maintained unwavering faith in the system, firmly believing that justice would prevail. The reception in honor of the acquitted minister was attended by West Singhbhum District Executive President Sujit Giri, Central Secretary Siddharth Mahato, Mangal Soren, Sunny Lohar, Raju Prasad, Veer Karuan, Shekhar Sahis, Rahul Prasad, and several others.
