Jamshedpur, May 11: Tata Motors has issued a strong advisory cautioning job aspirants against fraudulent recruitment offers and unauthorized individuals demanding money in exchange for employment opportunities.
In response to growing complaints of job scams circulating through social media platforms and other unofficial channels, the company has reiterated that its recruitment process is completely transparent and does not involve any monetary transactions at any stage.
Through its official recruitment communication, Tata Motors clarified that it is an equal opportunity employer and all hiring decisions are based strictly on merit.
The company stated that candidates are evaluated primarily on three key parameters —academic and technical qualifications, suitability for the specific role, and prevailing business requirements.
The company has categorically emphasized that it does not ask applicants for any payment, security deposit, processing fee, or gifts during any part of the recruitment process. Any individual, consultant, or agency claiming to represent Tata Motors and demanding money for securing employment should be treated as fraudulent.
Tata Motors has urged job seekers to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to such scams. Candidates have been advised to verify all employment-related information only through the company’s official website and authorized communication channels.
The company further appealed to the public to immediately report any suspicious recruitment-related demands to the appropriate authorities or the police.
While reaffirming its commitment to creating fair employment opportunities for young talent, Tata Motors made it clear that there are no shortcuts or unofficial routes to securing a job with the company, and any attempt to bypass the formal hiring process could lead to financial fraud and exploitation.
