Jamshedpur: Police identify youths in camera loot incident

Jamshedpur, May 8: Adityapur police have identified the youths who snatched a camera from a journalist near S Type Chowk in Adityapur on 1^st may last.

Cops said they had successfully identified the culprits who allegedly assaulted the cameraman Venkatesh Gondra late at night. The accused persons include Aditya Jha, Sanchu Singh, Vivek Yadav, Uday Singh and Aman Mungeri. They were accompanied by 10-12 other youths.

The accused persons had beaten up Vekatesh and his three associates near Damro Furniture at Adityapur and snatched his camera worth Rs 2.5 lakh. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV camera installed in a nearby building, cops said.

Now police are searching for the culprits who allegedly assaulted a Kulfi seller near Prabhat Park and snatched his money just two days after the camera loot incident.
