Jamshedpur, March 11: A mobile phone snatcher was caught by a mob at Thakurbari Road under Sakchi police station area in broad day light on Saturday. He was reportedly caught while fleeing after snatching the mobile phone of a pedestrian woman. The woman raised an alarm and sought help from passers-by. Soon several people ran after the accused and caught him. The accused was roughed up by the mob before being taken in custody by police. Police have recovered the phone. They are interrogating the accused in connection with the incident and several similar crimes committed across the city.
