Jamshedpur, March 11: Deepak Singh, who was shot at by armed assailants near Gudri Bazar at Sonari late Friday night, continues to be critical. Doctors removed a bullet stuck in his liver in the morning. But Deepak’s condition is yet to improve, sources said.
Sources said police interrogated several relatives of the victim to get a clue into the cause of the shootout. They questioned Shiv Shankar Singh, Deepak’s brother, about a dispute between the two brothers. They are also trying to delve deeper into other family disputes of Deepak Singh in a bid to solve the case. They said the cooperation of the family members is vital to solving the case. Assailants had fired three bullets on Deepak. One bullet passed through Deepak’s body while the other got stuck in his liver.
