Jamshedpur, May 23: A young man named Bholu Kumar was shot and killed in broad daylight near the Kadma Bazaar. Bholu, a resident of Adityapur Ramgarhia colony and a supporter of BJP leader Ganesh Mahali, was reportedly involved in a dispute with some individuals at a nearby liquor shop before the fatal altercation.
Eyewitnesses reported that two assailants approached Bholu and shot him directly in the forehead, followed by a brutal attack with a chopper, resulting in his immediate demise. The incident has raised concerns about the deteriorating law and order situation in the city, especially amid heightened security measures due to the ongoing Lok Sabha elections.

Police authorities, led by the Kadma police station in-charge, have launched an investigation into the murder and are reviewing CCTV footage to identify the perpetrators. Initial suspicions have pointed towards known criminal elements, including Vicky Nandi, who was allegedly involved in a previous altercation with Bholu.
According to sources, Bholu had a history of involvement in criminal activities and was recently released from jail on charges related to the Arms Act. The incident has reignited fears of gang violence in Adityapur, where Bholu was associated with criminal figures Karthik Munda and Sagar Lohar.

In the aftermath of the murder of Bholu Kumhar in Kadma, Jamshedpur, suspicions have arisen regarding the involvement of notorious criminal Vicky Nandi and his associates. Sources suggest that Nandi’s name has emerged in connection with the fatal shooting of Bholu, a close associate of BJP leader Ganesh Mahali.
Reports indicate that Vicky Nandi had previously been targeted in a bomb attack three years ago at Beldih Chhath Ghat in Adityapur, allegedly orchestrated by Bholu himself. In retaliation, Nandi had purportedly been planning to seek revenge on Bholu, whose demise has further exacerbated tensions and raised concerns about escalating gang violence in Adityapur.
It is believed that Bholu’s association with criminals Karthik Munda and Sagar Lohar might have prompted Nandi to orchestrate the attack. Additionally, there are reports suggesting that Nandi was present at the scene of the crime.
Having recently been released from jail on charges related to the Arms Act, Bholu had a history of criminal involvement, further fueling speculations about the motive behind his murder.
