Jamshedpur, May 23: Arindam Haldar, DGM at Tata Motors, emphasized the significant role of electric vehicles (EVs) in reducing the country’s dependence on fossil fuels during the concluding day of the Faculty Development Program at RVS College of Engineering and Technology. Highlighting the benefits of transitioning to electric vehicles, he noted that such a shift would lead to a reduction in expenditure on oil imports, thereby strengthening the country’s economy.
In line with the government’s initiatives to promote EV adoption, Haldar mentioned the implementation of various schemes and the expansion of charging infrastructure across the nation. Increased accessibility to charging stations aims to enhance convenience for EV users and encourage the widespread adoption of electric vehicles.
Furthermore, Haldar underscored the role of machine learning in mitigating risks associated with electric vehicles, contributing to their efficiency and reliability. By leveraging machine learning technologies, advancements in EVs can be achieved, ensuring enhanced performance and safety standards.
During the program, Haldar was honored by Professor Krishna Murari, Dean Admin of Swagat College, with a bouquet, and Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Dean Research, presented him with a memento. The event witnessed the presence of Dr. Sharad Chandra Mahato, College Dean, along with faculty members from various departments, reaffirming the collective commitment to fostering innovation and sustainability in automotive technology.
