ICAI organizes seminar on “Sanhita – Harmonizing Conduct with Principles”

Jamshedpur, April 25: The Jamshedpur branch of the Central India Regional Council of ICAI (CIRC) organized a one-day seminar on the theme “Sanhita – Harmonizing Conduct with Principles” on Friday. The seminar focused on three key topics, Income Tax Bill 2025, Financial Statements of Non-Corporate Entities and the Code of Ethics.

CA Naveen Khemka elaborated on the upcoming changes in the Income Tax Bill 2025 and their impact on non-corporate entities, while CA Sana Baqai spoke in detail about the ethical responsibilities and professional integrity of chartered accountants. The sessions were chaired by CA Jagdish Khandelwal and CA Gopal Harlalka.

Around 150 chartered accountants from the city participated in the seminar. The program began with a welcome address by Branch Chairman CA Kaushalendra Das. Vote of thanks was delivered by CA Chetan Agarwal, and stage coordination was done by Branch Secretary CA Rishi Arora. Valuable support was extended by CA Anand Agarwal, CA Yogesh Sharma, and CA Mukund Kedia.

As a mark of respect, a two-minute silence was observed in memory of the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam.

The event witnessed the participation of several senior members of the fraternity including CA Dilip Golcha, CA Rajesh Agarwal, CA P.N. Shangari, CA Manish Kedia, CA Aditya Jajodia and others.
