Gram Shakti Diwas celebrated in Sidgora, many get benefits of Central schemes

Jamshedpur: District level celebration of Gram Shakti Diwas took place on Saturday under the ongoing Gram Swaraj Abhiyan at Birsa Munda Nagar Bhavan in Sidgora. Benefits of various Central government schemes were provided to many beneficiaries on this occasion.

Among the beneficiaries, five youths were given appointment letters under Skill Development scheme while 10 others were selected by Sri Harshad Enterprises, Ahmedabad. Further, 17 persons from Patamada, Potka, Ghatsila and Dhalbhumgarh were given lifelong financial inclusion benefits. Tabs were distributed among the members of Sakhi Mandals in Potka. Sakhi Mandal members were honoured for their good work. Forest lease right was given to 20 beneficiaries while five were given free LPG connection under the Ujjwala scheme.

The dignitaries present on the occasion included the MP of Jamshedpur Bidyut Baran Mahato, Ghatsila MLA Laxman Tudu, Potka MLA Menka Sardar, Zila Parishad president Bulu Rani Singh, MLA representative from Jamshedpur East Pawan Agrawal and various senior officials of Central and state governments.
