Jamshedpur: Since time immemorial, there is an all-embracing attachment of man with nature, particularly his dependence on trees.
The Eco-Club of Rajendra Vidyalaya organized an attractive show of plants. The theme was Best out of waste.
Students used discarded empty bottles, cut and painted them attractively and used them as tubs for the saplings on display. The entire school premise was decorated with these plants.
The Eco Club members pledged that they would care for the trees and plants in the school premises. They also resolved to plant new trees and care for the old ones.
The secretary of the school management committee, Vivekanand encouraged the students. School principal Rakhi Banerjee congratulated the students for their efforts.
The entire program was conducted under the guidance of Eco-Club moderators Kiran Sinha, Manjulata Samantaray and Madhvi Jha.
