Jamshedpur, August 31: A clash occurred between the police and a group of intoxicated youths in Jugsalai’s Naya Bazar on Tuesday night. The incident began when a patrolling team intervened as approximately ten youths were drinking alcohol on the roadside. The intoxicated group reacted violently, pushing and assaulting the police personnel, including the driver of the patrolling vehicle.
The police managed to arrest one of the accused, Akash Singh, while his associates fled the scene. A case has been registered against Singh, Ronit, and ten unidentified individuals. The police are continuing their efforts to apprehend the other suspects involved in the incident.
