Jamshedpur, August 31: The operation schedule for the Vande Bharat train routes from Tatanagar to Patna and Barhampur is complete, with the Chakradharpur division awaiting final approval to commence services. Preparations have been made, including upgrading the washing line at Tatanagar station and training for maintenance and operation staff. Despite these preparations, the Vande Bharat train has not yet received the green light for operation.
Currently, the Ranchi-Howrah Vande Bharat train operates six days a week via Tatanagar. The anticipated Vande Bharat train for Patna is eagerly awaited by passengers, who face challenges with seat availability on the existing South Bihar Express and Tatanagar-Danapur Express. The new Vande Bharat service is expected to reduce travel time between Tatanagar and Patna to eight hours, compared to the 11 hours required by the current trains.
