Jamshedpur, June 19: D.B.M.S. Kadma High School organized its Senate Installation Ceremony at the Kalakriti Auditorium, formally inducting the newly elected Student Senate for the academic session 2026–27. The programme aimed to encourage leadership, responsibility, and a spirit of service among students.
The election process was designed to help students understand the importance of democracy, voting rights, and responsible citizenship. Through active participation in the elections, students learned the significance of every vote and the role they can play in decision-making processes.
The ceremony began with a procession of the newly elected senate members, followed by an oath-taking ceremony. The students pledged to perform their duties sincerely and work for the welfare of the school community. Badges were presented to the elected members, and responsibilities were formally handed over.
Arman Pratap Singh was inducted as President, while Daksh Sahu took charge as Vice President. House captains, vice-captains, and ministers for cultural activities, sports, and discipline also assumed their responsibilities during the ceremony.
School authorities emphasized the importance of leadership, teamwork, discipline, and integrity. They encouraged the newly elected student leaders to serve as role models and contribute positively to the growth and development of the school.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of the Principal and Vice Principals of the school and was held in the presence of the School Managing Committee, comprising Lalitha Chandrashekhar, Chairperson (Administration) and President of the School Managing Committee; Dr. B. Chandrashekhar, Chairperson (Finance); Anita Ramkrishna, Honorary Secretary; Usha Malini, Joint Secretary; and P. S. Aruna, Joint Treasurer.
