CM lays foundation stone of Jamshedpur Dairy Plant, says Jharkhand to become self reliant in milk production

Jamshedpur, March 7: Jharkhand chief minister Champai Soren said that the state is not only to be made self-reliant in the field of milk production but also among the leading states.

Addressing foundation laying program of Medha Dairy Plant in Baliguma, Jamshedpur today, Champai Soren expressed his commitment to promote milk production and increase the income source of farmers and cattle herders. He said that the prosperity of the state is possible only with the prosperity of the farmers. In such a situation, many steps are being taken by the state government to empower the farmers.

The Chief Minister said that their government is fulfilling the commitment are rising above the promotion and dissemination of schemes and are working to reach their benefits to the last person of the society.

The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously making efforts to save and enrich the tribal and local language and culture of Jharkhand. In this series, now teaching of tribal and other local languages will be started in all the primary schools of the state. Children will now study in their mother tongue. Teachers will be appointed in this direction soon.

The Chief Minister said that preparations have been started to take the JSSC examination which was canceled due to paper leak. This examination will be conducted very soon.

“Candidates do not need to be disappointed. the process of reinstatement of about 30 thousand teachers is going on. Our government is committed to providing employment to the youth,” said Soren.

The Chief Minister said that farmers will now be able to do farming work throughout the year. For this, irrigation facilities are being increased.

“water will reach the fields through underground pipeline from Chandil Dam. A plan for this will be made soon,” said Soren.

Incidentally, Milk processing capacity of Jamshedpur Dairy Plant will be 50 thousand liters per day.

Around 5000 villagers will get direct and indirect employment.

Now the state government will give an incentive amount of Rs 5 per liter to the people involved in milk production.

The Chief Minister transferred an amount of Rs 3 crore 89 lakh to the bank accounts of 633 beneficiaries under the Milk Cow Distribution Scheme.

Chief Minister launched Artificial Insemination Program in Jharkhand state through NDDB Services.

The state currently has a milk processing capacity of 2.5 lakh liters per day, the target is to increase it to 5 lakh liters per day.
