Jharkhand CM gifts 84 schemes to Seraikela-Kharsawan, says govt to ensure development of last person in society

Seraikela, March 7: Jharkhand Chief minister Champai Soren said that government is committed to ensure development of last persons in the society.

Addressing the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremony of various schemes at Kharkai Ganjia Barrage located in Gamharia block of Seraikela-Kharsawan district, Champai Soren said that goverment is working with a vision for progress of all section of society so that welfare schemes reaches each persons for holistic development of residents.

The Chief Minister said that the government is making efforts to provide irrigation and drinking water facilities.

In this sequence, the foundation stone of “Pipeline Irrigation Scheme” is being laid today under Seraikela-Kharsawan district.

“The government is committed to ensure that the farmer brothers can progress by farming well and ensure the food security of the state. Our government is working with dedication towards the farmers of Jharkhand. It is our endeavor that in the coming days, water should be supplied through pipelines to the fields of farmers of all categories, big and small, for irrigation,” he said.

With the aim of strengthening and improving the irrigation system, the work of supplying water to the fields through pipelines has been started recently in Santal, Palamu and Kolhan divisions, the chief minister stressed.

The Chief Minister said that the people of the state are benefiting from various public welfare schemes of the government. The government has started many important schemes to bring Jharkhand into the category of developed states.

The Chief Minister said that the work of strengthening the economic, educational and social system through various schemes is continuing by our government. The government is meeting all the expenses for the education of the tribal, Dalit and backward class children here. Children are getting quality education in excellent schools. Our government provided ration to the poor by making additional 20 lakh green ration cards.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister gifted 84 schemes to Seraikela-Kharsawan district with inauguration of 11 schemes and laying of foundation stone of 73 schemes.
While the total amount of inauguration schemes is Rs 28 crore 25 lakh 32 thousand 9 hundred, the amount of foundation stone laying schemes is Rs 328 crore 1 lakh 95 thousand.
