Patna (IANS): The Bihar government completed a major administrative reshuffle on Friday as newly inducted ministers assumed their respective portfolios. Leaders from the NDA alliance emphasized a unified focus on governance and accelerated development following the 2025 mandate.
Key Portfolio Assignments
The expansion brings a mix of youth and experience to the state leadership.

Dilip Kumar Jaiswal took charge of the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, pledging to bring government services directly to citizens’ doorsteps.

Nishant Kumar, noted for his educational background, was entrusted with the Health Department.

Pramod Kumar Chandravanshi and Ram Kripal Yadav also assumed their roles, with Yadav stating that the team will work toward the “Viksit Bihar” vision shared by the Chief Minister and Prime Minister.
Alliance Unity and Representation
JD(U) National Working President Sanjay Jha highlighted that the cabinet provides balanced representation for women and youth. He noted that the government is now positioned to function with maximum effectiveness.
Bihar BJP President Sanjay Saraogi congratulated the new ministers, asserting that the transition from “good governance to prosperity” remains the coalition’s primary goal. He emphasized that the BJP, LJP (Ram Vilas), and JD(U) remain fully coordinated to strengthen public service delivery across the state.
