Jamshedpur, Jan 29: On Monday, Chief Loco Engineer of the South Eastern Railway Zone, A. Hayat inspected the New Electric Loco Shed at Tatanagar. He assessed the maintenance of engines, tracks, and other resources. He also noted the conditions of coach gardens and the Loco Training Center. The Chief Loco Engineer later held a meeting with the Senior Divisional Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (DEEs) from other loco sheds in the zone, including Santragachi, Bondamunda, and Adra, to discuss and deliberate on new technologies.
Reportedly, the number of trains is increasing, and in line with this, orders have been issued by the railways to ensure timely maintenance of engines.
